Our People

Robert L. Tackabury, CPA
I have been a CPA since 1991 and have lived in Central NY my entire life. In 1989, I graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with a degree in Accounting. My financial background includes experience in Auditing, Taxes, Bookkeeping, Investments and Insurance.

Particularly, I enjoy working on SOLUTIONS to your financial problems. This requires taking the time to really understand as much as possible about YOUR particular situation. I have not come across anyone yet who was exactly like another client. We all have different goals, needs, timeframes, tax situations, etc. and I enjoy tailoring solutions to your individual needs. My goal is to build a long-lasting and rewarding relationship with my clients.

In addition to being a CPA, I hold a securities (series 7) license and a life, accident, and health insurance license. I’m also certified to sell NYS Partnership Long-Term Care policies. We are very fortunate to have such polices available in New York State!

Robert L. Curtis
I was born and raised in New Berlin, NY and have worked in finance and accounting services my entire career. In 1983, I graduated from Cornell University and worked in the Banking field for 13 years. In 1996 I changed direction, working with a Certified Public Accountant in Norwich, NY. There, I concentrated mainly on taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll. When Bob Tackabury and I discussed going into business together, I was really excited about the “full-service” concept. Because of our backgrounds, skills and experience, we are able to offer you much more than the “traditional” tax and bookkeeping services.

I learned early in my career that the most important factor in working with businesses is to gain an understanding of how that particular business works. I believe this also applies to an individual’s financial circumstances. Only when you understand people’s needs, are you able to truly help them.
